Poor battery performance

I've had my P900 6 days now and the battery performance is poor. It last barely a day with moderate use. There is no way it would last 2 days!

How long is everybody elses battery lasting?

PS no bluetooth on or irda.

more than two days with moderate usage.

Make sure you don't have GPRS on all the time, and that you're not running any background applications.

Some applications (e.g., Opera) can reduce battery performance. You can use a program like SMAN to remove those apps that you don't need.

Acetris for example (tetris clone) was running for a while on my system (I thought SMAN cleared it, but it "refused" to close) and it drained my battery so bad, it was out in less than 5 hours!

I've been doing a lot of reading on various other forums (I couldn't find much here) and it sounds like that is the main problem. Progs running in the background. Also I believe it can be a couple of weeks before the battery is up to full opperational perfomance.

The thing is I do tend to use Sman to close unused apps.
