I followed every step from the instructions, but when I get to the last step (after the unzip of dll's) which is START APACHE, i get the following message:

Well then explain how it works for thousands others?

Hmmm, maybe you should take his advice.

Posted by: dgr8wun

i know it works because installed it on another computer at work..
but when i was installing it at home i forgot to install the VBNRUN60. so i had to uninstall and redo it all over..
so now when installing Apache it gives that error and states that its not installed..
maybe i'm doing something wrong, but i cant seem to get around it. if its that simple try uninstalling everything and starting over to see how this can be fixed..
i just uninstalled it on the computer at worK and now icant get it to work.

is there any differences in the two computers? One using a different OS than the other maybe?

Posted by: dgr8wun

same one, i think it has something to do with the apache being re-installed. i just did it on a 3rd comp. and it works great until i uninstall and start over..

jus figured it out!
those poeple who are having the same problem needs to unistall apache, but you also have to go to your C drive, program files and manually delete the apace folder.
after that its all good
