A friend of mine bought my P800. He was asking, when accessing the contact list, flip closed, if there was a way to change the default (the top, highlighted) number.

I said, "I didn't think so." I tried searching, didn't see anything quite like this but saw the priority number for "list view" (which I believe is flip open.)

So -- anyone know if it can be done?

I'm not sure about the P800, but I just tried this on my P900 and the list of numbers for a contact in Flip Closed is the same as in Flip Open. If you manually rearrange the numbers by editing the contact entry and enter whatever number you want to be default at the top of the list, then viewing that contact in Flip Closed will show your "default" number highlighted and the rest in the same order as you entered.
