Anyone notice that the powered Vox recharger/data USB cable, when plugged in, keeps animations moving at full speed, overriding the powersave mode. However (even) when the mobile charger is plugged in "and charging" the phone goes into its powersave mode, slowing down the animations. Is there any menu options to leave the screen on and the animations going full speed while charging? Slow speed animations are pretty lame. Animations that play only for a few 2 seconds are almost as lame.

With the 8900 The Vox USB data cable has a button on the plug (phone end of cable) that controls if the cable charges the phone or not but even when charging the phone has the regular wallpaper and access to the menu etc. When I plug in the car charger to the hole in the bottom of the phone I get the charging wallpaper and cant seem to get rid of it. It would be nice for a desktop charger/holder to be able to hold the phone for speakerphone operation but also plug into the USB port of a PC for power and data etc. Does anyone have an update on the desktop charger situation for the 8900?
