Either the midis are not type 0 or they are too big of a file size.

I'm merely trying to install with ***** some basic old fashioned bell ringer tones to my phone, but still have gotten the dreaded error (i.e. communications error, check baud rate, etc.). I downloaded a few tones successfully but most produce an error message. I have plenty of memory, and I have converted the Wav files to 8 bit, 8,000 khz PCM files as is required for the iDEN phones. Obviously, I am doing something wrong. Please help if you have some suggestions!

what is the best ringtone editor to use for editing wav file so that they work on i730's
I want to make some ringtones that aren't so boring to hear for my personal use and maybe give some to my family and friends that have i 95's and i730's

I use cool edit to create loops and save tracks in wav format. The only thing I don't like about the wav files is that the light on the i730 doesn't light. I guess it only recognizes midi?!?

To both of you guys that are getting the baud rate error message...one of two things...first...make sure in your preferences in *****...that you check the box that says connected via USB...then click Apply. OR...go in your phone...menu...settings...advanced...baud rate...make sure baud rate of phone is 19200...usually if it has never been changed it will be on auto...hopefully that helps
