I for one would like to thank all for the testing of all the phones on the open market right now. I, and assuming that I could speak for others, would also like to see someone post something other than "I got mine to work", or "mine did it just fine". If you would post some examples of how you got it work with Bitpim (or whatever software) others could start testing also and post there results for others to follow. Knowledge is power, and the more knowlegde we have and share the less indepentent we will be from LG (whatever manufactor) and Verizon Wireless(whatever carrier).

I'm not sure what you're looking for.
I use bitpim 0.7.4 to talk to my VX4500. I followed the instructions. The only issues were:
I couldn't get it to work with Windows 2000 but that's okay because I normally use Linux
Some part of the comm channel (I assume the phone) doesn't init properly so I often have to use the get data function twice before bitpim can talk to the phone.
