does the side buttons work when talking to adjust volume? and when it's closed to adjust ringers like the samsung phones?

It does adjust ringer volume sorry, in idle mode, if u press up or down volume, it'll chg the softkey label display to date/time display briefly.
Holding down volume (with the phone closed) will turn on the self portrait camera using ext display for view finder, and holding up volume (with phone open or closed) will activate silent/vibe mode.

while the phone is ringing on a incoming call, would pressing the button once mute the ringer, also would holding the up/down automatically divert the call to your voicemail.

thats one thing i liked about nokias - the silencer

unfortunately - on the innos - pressing either of the side buttons automatically sends the call to voicemail - there is no "silencing" feature

people that know your phone pretty much know when you send them directly to voicemail
