1. Can u take pictures with camera when the flip is closed down like the E715?
2. Do the MP3 ringtones sound really clear?
3. Is the camera a bit laggy in darker areas?
4. Does the camera have frames and effects? Is there a lot or only like 2-3?
5. Is the 64 chord poly ringtones a lot different than the 40 or 32 chords? Or are they all almost the same quality?
6. Is the 262k colour screen a lot better than most phones? or are they similar to the 65k colour screens such as the E715?
7. Are the menus laggy?
8. How's the reception of the phone?
9. Is there a program to help compress the mp3 ringtone files so that u can upload a few songs into the phone?
Thanx in advance guyz
... if pictures of phone and some from the phone are available.. it'd be greatlly appreciated if it could be posted here

you can use the external screen as a viewing screen to take self-portraits.
reception is about the same (a little worse? but reacquires the signal faster) as a T616.
262k screen is pretty good, I hear it's comparable to a good 65k color screen (I don't have one of those, so I can't really compare the 262k to anything but the T616's).
MP3s are pretty clear.
You need the cable and the supplied software to compress and upload MP3s to the phone (or you can download it from the net, it uses the Samsung mmf format I think).

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Not sure but refresh rate of the camera as fast as teh E715
4. Has 6 effects and 10 frames
5. IMO kinda sounds better, Cat dance on the Inno sound better than the Samsung's version...But dunno if its the 64 cord or just added sounds. Plus I enjoy the ringtones that come with the inno more than samsungs.
6. Almost the same as the E715 but clearer, much brighter than the T616.
7. Menu isn't laggy but I find that the call list menu is some what slow.
8. Only used my inno 89 for 10 days but it seems pretty strong. My friend was surprise that it could recieve in his room which is a lower level and his GD88 had no reception.
9. I haven't picked up my data cable yet but I hear that the longest a MP3 ringtone could be is 25 seconds, not sure about the size.
I am using a Inno 89 but everything should be the same except for the camera quality.

I think I read somewhere that the max size for a ringtone is ~200k...though that's MP3 size or converted size, I am not sure.

I recently bought the samsung E715 I really dont like it and am looking into trading it for the inno 90. I have a question:
Does the Photo caller ID show up on the outside LCD when you are receiving an incoming call?
Also, is there any way to lock the 911 (sos) button with a PIN number or somethnig? I wouldnt want to hit that one by mistake!!

yea.. it has external caller id i believe

There is photo call-id
And the size limit for the ringtones is <200kb. If u actually make it 199kb, it's still a bit too big hehe so all mine, max is about 196kb or so. And that size is taken when you're cutting the actual mp3 file (before converting)... and it'll give you roughly a 25sec ringtone, give or take a second

The biggest problem for the caller ID, is that you have to use the pictures taken with built-in camera, set at the lowest res.
Meaning you can't d/l a picture, then use it as a caller ID pic.

still good tho... even if u can't transfer.. u can take a picture of comp screen or something hehe

hehe.. funny thing is that's exactly what I did.
