NEC 525 won't play mmf files. help!

I uploaded a mmf (SMAF) file to my phone, selected it, hit play, but no sound at all. what am I doing wrong?

That probably because the file is a 40 tone smaf. For some reason they don't always work with that phone. try changing it to a 16 tone and see if that works. Also try stripping out the extras life light flashing.
