OK, so i unlocked my T616 from AT&T. Now I use it on T-Mobile, but it seems that I can not get any ringtones on it. Is there something I did wrong? Is there a way to get T-Zones on to the phone instead of nMode? What should I do to be able to download the ringtones?

How did you unlock your phone? Did it yourself or used a service? If you were satisfied, could you recommmend to me too, please?

You need to get the T-Zones settings from TMo in order to use the T-Zones, it may resolve the problem with downloading to it as well. Had to do this to a friends from, bought from ATTWS and used on TMo.

Call TMo and get those T-Zones settings. Should solve your problems

If you plan on doing this yourself, you'll need a Terminator Dongle and DIV USB/LPT 1.8 software. Here's how you do it:

To unbrand/unlock T616:
Using DIV USB/LPT 1.8 for Txx6, select T616 and flash the "T610 Original GDFS" file. Then, if you can't hear anything when you make a call, flash the "T616 Default Acoustics V3" GDFS file. Also, if your phone reads as a T610 after this, flash the "T616 Default Phone Identifier" GDFS file.

** Don't use DIV 8.4 software to unlock T616 as it will give you 4 locks closed problem

This might sound confusing if you're new to this. You might be able to find someone to do this for you for a fee if you search in the Marketplace forum or just searching the Internet. I used DIV 8.4 to unlock my ATTWS T616 without a problem.
