everytime i erase a ringer...the song itself gets deleted but the name is still listed on my phone...and to get it off you gotta delete the .map files in bitpim...you have to do this everytime?

t's happened to me before but I have just re-transfered the MP3 with BitPim and then deleted it again and it usually is gone.

it does that with ringtones and pictures on my fone .
what i do is i have the the ringtone and wallpaper data in bitpm blank and just send an empty set of data to my phone.
ex: i send a ringtone to my phone but there is no ringtone, i just click add ringtone.
and that problem goes away

the file is bigger than it is suppose to be, you have to delete via data cable
