I suppose you could scratch and break the leds if u want too, but i would just live with a flashing battery.

you can't disconnect the led's without opening up the battery

then open up the battery if you're so desperate for a non flashing battery. but in my opinion, now that i have seen the battery, you should just live with the flashing battery.

...that's not bad... I can just pop the LEDs off and solder over it, right?

Posted by: Blitz Fist

Yeah, you would have to solder back over it.

This is nice, now I can get the alterative cover. Even though it's a bit pricey. Still cool though. I'll be the coolest cat around.

personaly i would keep the LEDs cuz they are sweet

Posted by: MICHAELCORLEONE

Hey that flashing battery will just draw attention to your new phone case so I say keep it even if it does look a lil gay LOL no really it looks straight man especially if your getting the clear or smokey enclosure it will just flash and draw peoples attention then thell ask you about the case and how did you get a phone like that and you can tell them only VIP get 'em

But I dont think you should go messing with the LED's that can affect the battery, NO? well whatever you decide to do man just post it up here and let us know.

maybe, maybe not, the LED's may be providing a certain amount of resistance and if they are removed and replaced with much less resitance from the solder, it could burn out the battery or cause over heating, possibly a fire hazard

however you could get it then test the LEDs for resistance with a multi-meter, then decide what to do

i dont get this, that bettery almost looks like its on the inside...like the flashing batteries are on the inside...if thats tru...wat be the point? but i dont think thats tru cuz the battery is clear so it juss looks liek that..this be a great idea and i buy it in two seconds...but i live in CANADA and they change 15 bux for shipping!! and its all USA dollers...so its going to be like 50 bux by the time im done..i guess all juss wait till sum1 comes out with more

It looks to me as if the actual battery is inside a clear housing, with the flashing LEDs on the inside. It wouldn't make sense to place the LEDs on the outside since they would easily get scratched or shredded off or something.

(Man...above post was almost unintelligible.)

Instead of "Cool phone, freak." they'll go "Dayyyammmnn! That's a bad@55 mother@#&!ing cellphizzone!" But you're still a freak.

I think flashing lights are a little tacky. Especially since you can't turn them off. Like "Oh look, I have a cellphone! Ain't I cool?"

Posted by: Phoneboy1117

I got a few questions, sry if they sound stupid......

1. Do all the battery colors match the VM Slider?
2. Has any1 gotten the battery and used it w/ the lights? If so, how is it, and how often does it flash?

Nah I dont have one. Not paying 30 bucks for a battery Ill wait till they drop in price when more places start carrying them or on EBAY. They silver isnt bad with the clear faceplate since the front part, headset plug, and antenna are silver anyways the battery being silver doesnt look so bad
