Driver problems (wandering in circles)

No matter how much i seach the forums, and pm people asking for how they solved their problems, i am stuck posting. I have noticed a pattern in all these posts, they seem to end or lead with questions like "i would like to know too" and other non-answering posts.
I am currently helping my friend set up his cable for his 4600, he said that his cd that came with the cable is <-^v->. He has no idea where it is. I was wondering if anyone has the VX4600 USB driver or a link for the US version of the phone or if they can identify which phone looks like the 4600 on the
