Hello, I just started visiting this site recently and read that people flash their phone. What exactly is this. I have a gu87 and what exactly would i need to flash my phone....thanks

well you need a data cable and it changes everything on your phone you can unlock your phone to use it with other carriers.
and it makes it do cool stuff

First of all, unlock your phone. Secondly get the appropriate stuffs (winmodo,cb2000,A55 firmware +language pack for example and a usb cable) before looking through the instructions to flash your phone!

The good thing to flash your phone is where you will be able to have the latest firmware in your phone. You could tkae pictures without the clicking sound for example and also an extra 200 space to store your sms.
