Well yes I do work at VM, I sit there and activate phones, re-program them, do the top up's, register credit cards, I'll even sell peoples account information for negiotable prices. Which include ESN#, First, Last Names, vkey, secret question and answer and the phone # they have. But I forgot to bring home my programming codes from work. Oh yea I also can provide you with a way to get free VM ringtones by using the REF # of the ringtone, but they only last about 2 days.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but we expect hofo members to CONTRIBUTE to any of the forums they post in and not make a profit (except Buy, Sell, Trade). Now, you could contribute by giving us the EVRC code, or do nothing, and get nothing.

P.S. Although at this point I despise Virgin Mobile, it is COMPLETELY unethical to reveal a patron’s account information!

Yes. you and braindead are the ones who have everyone saying that he's trying to sell codes. Just because he said "I can get them for you" doesn't mean he's trying to sell them. BUT, so far he hasn't responded to my request for the EVRC code, sooo...you may be right.

i completely understand RNS. i wasn't being clear about the buying of business information in my first post.

If he had no intention of gaining something, money or otherwise, he wouldn't have left us with a cliffhanger, and just posted the information he knew. Also, he has had a long response period, if he had intentions of giving the codes away for free, he would have done it by now.

Yes he did leave us with a "cliffhanger."....He left his programming book at work. Yes he does have a long response time....He has a job...at vm, the very people we are working against. If i had to guess, i would say he's afraid to go to this website at work. It seems that we may have an insider that is willing to help us; although, we can't be sure of his intentions yet.

he could also be coming here for VM, ATT has reps that browse the sites to see who's giving out info they are not supposed to (usually dealers) and ends up getting them fired. This could be in response to the free top up codes thread, just an idea

I was thinking he would ask for your phone number and tell you he would top you up for free or somthing like that than see what you were up to on your phone

Yeah, he's full of it. He's just trying to get people to pay him, for nothing. If he was really legit, he would have that EVRC code up by now.

I read somewhere that the EVRC code was specific to the ESN number. anyone else ever hear that???? also, if that is true, then is there some way to figure it out????

I would not worry about the EVRC, all it is is to change the settings for the CODECS. Enhanced Variable Rate Coding, I have tried to change them on LG phones and they default to the EVRC on Verizon anyway.

I was just wondering. i like to mess with all the settings possiable. Also, i recently got a verizon kyocera 2255 as a nonworking parts phone, but it does work. Under the browser setup it has UP.Link B, but my vm kyocera 2255 doesnt have that. Is there a way to get my phone to display that setting????
