im using a siemens m55 on fido and before every call i hear 3 tones it's kinda annoying and i cant find how to turn that off.. if it's even possible.. anyone knows how to turn that off ?

Try:

Menu -> Setup -> Audio and turn off the Info-Tones. I think this will do it for you.

At least you don't have the beep on connect like on my SX1. That's annoying. Midway through hearing the other person say "hello" there is a beep. I can live with the other tones...
