Hey if i went down and had metro pcs put there firmware on my slider think i could still use it for virgin still minus some of the options like checking how many minutes i have left on my phone

no...if you got them to flash the phone, then you would be on metro pcs...period. i think your getting confused with unlocking your vm slider and having them program it to run on metropcs. someone with more experience in these things can explain it more clearly.
