My slider beeps randomly every so often and it scares the ×××× of people around me.

It's a nice LOUD *doot*

What is it from? When I put it on silent(vibrate) it just vibrates. What is it trying to tell me? Im not using the phone when this happens.

help please.

Pretty sure I know what it's from. Is it from the alerts and remind feature? I just read the manual and it says it reminds every 5 minutes so it could be that. I turned it off so we'll see.

your phone could be confused and thinks its charging. But what does the screen say, it will show a reminder on the screen for whatever its beeping about

It doesn't show anything on the phone and i've turned every reminder off. The last one happened when I received an email, so that is cool to know.

Btw, I don't get any sounds when im charging or plug it in to charge.

hmm... strange... make sure your speaker phone speaker is in; after I took mine apart, I realized the next morning that I never put it back in!

VM, if his speaker wasnt in at all. . . then how would he be getting the loud beeps!??! .. .. o wait, do some of the sounds come out of the speaker at the top? Awww now u got me confused!!!

some of the beeps but not the real loud ones, they come out the speaker

theres options under:
settings-->network
that you can turn on so your phone beeps when your phone loses/gets service, or when it switches to roaming.
try turning that off
