Is there a way to silence the ring on an incoming call?

Like when you hear the phone ring and want to silence it while you are trying to figure out who's calling?

The T68i had this feature.

i have a m55 but i think they are the same
anyways when recieveng a call i have 'mute" appearing above the right soft key so when pressed it will silence the ring without ending the call

I wish it were a simple "doh", but my right softkey rejects the call and the left one answers it

ok my bad
its not the sof key but the one next to it that is used to access the menu

Next time, if you want to really be helpful, you could just tell me.
The AT@T S56 manual only has about 70 pages and doesn't document this feature.

Had to download the manual from Siemens. Then again, I noticed other features that were not documented in the AT@T manual

funny. i've never looked at the AT&T manual. only the one off of siemens' website. figured they were the same. dont take offense, i was gonna just cut and paste from the pdf file, but it wouldnt let me. so i just posted the page number.
