shower humidity

If I have my phone with me in the same room while I take a shower, do you think that the humidity is going to mess it up? I take a shower in a LITTLE bathroom, so it gets really steamy in there. Do you think that the humidity is going to get into the phone, and mess it up somehow?

If you're so worried, don't bathe with your phone.

if you are worried about it getting wet then you should follow vm's advice or do what i do; keep the phone under some clothes. i.e. leave it in your pant's pocket.

××××, nice phone VM. Is Vm going to be using that one anytime soon?

I don't take a shower with it in the same room anymore. I just started thinking about it when it started ringing, while I was taking a shower.

Well if still did have it in the same room as tha 1 u showa in, u wouldnt have to worry cuz i do it all the time & mines fine

if your worried about missing a call then just dial the number back, it tells you if you missed a call..

unless you have some "online friends" who have your number and worried about them calling when your in the shower and your parents picking up the phone....

just kidding - i hope

the humidity can actually screw up the phone. If the moisture gets into the phone, it can cause shorts and then dry and leave a residue, which means your phone will have to be taken apart and cleaned. Plus it can also screw your battery, this is why somephones have the moisture sensitive stickers on the phones and batteries

well, usually i leave it in a pocket, or under as pile of clothes, so i guess its not as exposed to the humidity

What do you mean by "online friends"? And, I'm not scared of my parents answering the phone. I don't even live with them.

Thank you, braindead! That's what I was wondering.

you have to remember that virgin is geared towards teen users and that there are probably alot of people on here that are teens

Stop showering.

You don't want to take a chance on the FCC revoking your wireless priviledges because you missed a phone call (requiring the use of missed-call, caller ID and/or voicemail) just to perform a little personal grooming do you?

Kupe

P.S. /sarcasm off

umm...ok.

I'm not worried about missing a call, why does everyone keep saying that? All I was asking is if the humidity could get in the phone, and mess it up. Only one person out of everyone in this thread understood that.

make that 2

Sorry, Phoneboy. I mean two.
