I am wondering if i can upload the firmware throught IR??? is that possible or it has to be data cable....??? If I need a data cable.. where can i get one for cheap??

You can't do the update by IR or Bluetooth.
You can do the firmware upgrade by using the X70/88/11 USB data cable.
Try to find it on ebay...or search on various forums to see if anyones has one for sale.
