What I would really like is a in car handfree kit with a cradle that fits the P900 ( HCC-30 looks like the kiddie!), and the wiring to put not only calls but MP3/multimedia sound from my P900 thro thro my car audio system. ( HCA-20? )

Would the combination of the two above do this for me or should I just take a feed from the headphone jack on the P900 to an input on my cars system?

The other thing is that I have been told that the headphone jack on the P900 is smaller that the regular style of headphone jack,,,

If that is true how do the great little creative speakers that Mark and 3VW's use connect to the phone??

Also I thought I read in one of marks treads some where to be carefull using the jack but can't remember where i saw it or why you should take care??

I just purchased a USB FM modulator at Micro Center that has a 12-volt adapter.

The audio connector on the FM modulator is a 3 element 1/16" plug receptor. All you would have to do is modify the supplied cord by putting a 4 element 1/16" plug on the end that has the 1/8" plug (adapter possibly?).

So it would work like this:
12-Volt adapter plug goes into 12-volt socket.
USB FM Modulator goes into 12-volt adapter.
3 element 1/16" audio plug goes into USB FM Modulator.
4 element 1/16" audio plug or adapter does into PX00 headphone port.

I have two setups.
Most modern 'head units' have audio input facilities and if you make up a cable with a 2.5mm stereo jack on one end and what is usually phono plugs on the other end the mp3s will play and the sound is very good!
If you have an older player with a cassete unit ( I have one in one of my vehicles ) then you can use an audio playing adapter in the slot. This will have a 3.5mm stereo jack on the end of the cable that can be used with a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter and this will fit the p900!

Just ordered a headphone to RCA lead off the net to exactly that blackhawk, but thanks for the reply!!!!

Quick question tho!!
Can hold a conversation with somebody with the callers voice coming thro the car sytem and using the P900's mic, or do you get too much interference from the phone??

Incoming clear and useable, but mic muted! Otherwise would be brilliant! I use my BT headset incar and audio output is totally muted until call ended!
