Quick idea: Has anybody tried to change their Primary Ip? I was browsing on my phone and i was thinking that if somebody could get an ip that worked with vm we may be able to download. It could be VM's gateway that dosn't let us download.

yea, but so far none of them have worked.

As far as I know, nobody has succeeded in using a WAP gateway other than VM's (Sprint's). The network seems to block any outgoing connections that are not destined for their own gateway. If by chance someone is able to get it to work, please tell us about it here.

Theoretically, yes, but we know of no other gateway which is Sprint-compatible.

my mistake....i had entered in the waptunnel ip and ports, but i was using uplink b. uplink b uses two of vm ip's and ports that are unchangeable through the user interface. basically uplink b is the backup. so far i haven't been able to get my user defined uplink a to work with anything else besides the stock ip's the phone came with.
