finally got my cam working, put the housing on a few days ago. No problems with it so far. Sorry bout the quality, best I can do right now

It wasn't that hard to change out the housing was it? Where did you buy your new housing, the site I mean?

no its wasnt that hard, just a small phillips and a t6 screwdrivers, you can buy both from a ahrdware store i got mine at Sears for like $1.50 each. Just a few screws and it comes apart. Just take your time and be careful and itll be fine.

The quality of them is just fine. I dont drop my phone so I donno how itd hold up to dropping on a hard surface but feels sturdy. Only things I noticed is the slide isnt as smooth as it was with the origional housing. But its not like totally sticky or anything just not AS smooth, which can be expected.

update- The front silver part around the screen scratches very easily. For some stupid reason they painted it on the outside and I have 2 little scuffs in it you can see the clear through, not very happy about that. The other is that that same piece, they used really cheap double sided tape to stick it to the housing and its starting to come off a little on the very top looking a tthe top of the phone. Obviously i could just glue it down but I dont want to glue it down if the paint is just going to scratch off and Ill have to replace it.
