Hi!
Am I doing something wrong? or does the following not make sense to anyone else... :
1) Select NEW EVENT; edit time and set reminder for 30 min prior to event.
2) Add text to reminder msg.
3) Select reminder tune.
But... when I get my reminder, I try to go in to the calendar to maybe re-set the reminder so that it rings again say 10 mins prior to the event, and SCHEDULE tells me there is no more EVENT..!!??
WTF 'sup widdat..!!??
Any ideas anyone???

Once the alarm goes off for the schedule the phone assumes you no longer require the reminder.
It is not like outlook where you can snooze the alarm for X period of time.

Datz the way it works I'm sad to say. Have you called Verizon & Audiovox to have it fixed? We can complain/try to reinvent ways to fix this phone all day but why when it's not our problems to fix or figure out.
I have tried this way, TWO forms Verizon reps can fill out that Verizon has is to get things fixed
1) "Verizon voice of the customer"
2) "Trouble Ticket"
and it does not seem to get much action...yet.....but I am getting credit to my account for Verizion not fixing it.
Check a post I started called "Want Verizon to fix it?" for more details on the forms.

I have been after Verizon & Audiovox to offer on the Schedule or Alarm the option to have it so it goes off only on week days or weekends only. Insted of the options it has now or in adition to them at least to make it a feature more of us would use more. Who the heck would want the option to have it go off once a year (one of the options in the phone all ready)?

Hi again!
I'm checking out "iDateBook" (one of the GIN offerings). It seems to be ok for now.
The way it works is that:
1 - you go to their web site and log in (you pay a $3 monthly fee)
2 - you tell them to get your Calendar info from your Outlook, etc.
3 - then any time you go into GIN and select iDateBook; it will display the latest Calendar info that you uploaded.
It will be possible to make changes to the calendar from your cell phone; then those changes will get sync-ed to your Outlook next time you go online via your pc.
When you use iDateBook on your cell phone, you can have it display either the Day, or Week, or Month. In Week or Month mode, you can select a Day, and it will go to that day. You can scroll down your list of day's events, and select an event to view in detail. You can modify text and times easily.
So far, this is adequate (and infinitely better than Tools=>Schedule that comes w/ our phone.

There is a setting to be reminded 1 in 5 minutes. Now I do not know if it will remind you once every 5 minutes or just once. But it gives 4 options under snooze. The options: None, 1 in 3 minutes, one in 5 minutes or 3 in 3 minutes. It may continue to remind you ???
