Last night I saw this commercial for Verizon with this guy using AOL and MSN messenger on his phone. It had the sounds and the pictures and all, and the phone he was using was the SE47. So it is out or comming out for Verizon.
but my question is:
Could you use it for Verizon and put the firmware from the ones from Verizon on the VM ones so you could download and stuff, when you switch to Verizon?

if the dealer had flashing capabilities then I would assume yes

if u go to switch your slider over to verizon, ask them to flash your firmware. if they say they can't do that, ask where you can get it done. some verizon dealers might want to be lazy and just do a sevice change so make sure and ask them to flash the firmware.

Wirelessly posted (Kyocera slider: SE47/1.0.00 UP.Browser/4.1.26l UP.Link/5.0.2.9)
Could u have them flash the firmware and keep vm service?

Possibly, though it may screw up data services (especially since most of the data settings are preset and hidden in Virgin's firmware, and Sprint's login process is different from VZW's). I know it will work for sure if you clear the MSL to 000000, but it should work without that.

I know this is offtopic...but is the slider all digital or does it have amps capability too?

No analog, all digital.

what r the chances of getting ur phone flashed for verizon but then you wont be able to use virgin o and another question, if verizon flashed ur phone all u would have to do is put in all the old info in ur phone right?

Well if you could, I don't think Verizon would flash your phone without you using their service.

i was thinking maybe i would switch over to there pre-pay plan (or at least tell them that) and just switch back to my plan with virgin
