has anyone noticed that it sometimes won't let you advance to the next level even though you collected all the stars?

Never had that problem... i did get frustrated on a few so i just skipped the stars and went thru the door to advance

you sure you went into the little door?
I don't know how that would work, since you can go onto the next level even if you don't get all the stars, just need to get through the door.

Yeah, i tried both modes of the game, and when i go thru the door, it asks me if i wanna try the level again or just continue, retry, or quit
