What's going on with my Inno90?

Got it today..
charging the phone up...but couldnt turn on the phone...i can only see the battery bar...and the percentage thing...
can anyone help???
do i need to take it to the service provider to activate the phone or something?? or do i just plug in the sim card from my old cell and it will work??

it won't turn on while chargind, unplug the charger then turn it on

it stays on, you just have to unplug it to turn it on first
