I presume a multi-SIM would be the same way as it effectively has the IDs of several SIMs in it. With ALS, on the carrier side of things, it identifies your one SIM ID with multiple numbers. Kind of a moot point for most of us though, ALS isn't supported by every carrier. Just last week a T-Mobile rep told me they don't support ALS at all; it's one SIM = one number on T-Mo. Not sure about Fido (my primary carrier here in Canada). Best to check with whomever your provider is if that's what you're looking for. I'd love to have ALS... sure as heck beats carrying two phones. |
