Need help unlocking T616 for AWS to use with cingular.

If you plan on doing this yourself, you'll need a Terminator Dongle and DIV USB/LPT 1.8 software. Here's how you do it:

To unbrand/unlock T616:
Using DIV USB/LPT 1.8 for Txx6, select T616 and flash the "T610 Original GDFS" file. Then, if you can't hear anything when you make a call, flash the "T616 Default Acoustics V3" GDFS file. Also, if your phone reads as a T610 after this, flash the "T616 Default Phone Identifier" GDFS file.

** Don't use DIV 8.4 software to unlock T616 as it will give you 4 locks closed problem

This might sound confusing if you're new to this. You might be able to find someone to do this for you for a fee if you search in the Marketplace forum or just searching the Internet. If you properly use DIV, you won't lock your phone.
