I just upload one of those custom firmware, and after the flash everything seen to work nicely but the quite mode on phone no longer work, it show the quite mode icon on the screen but it still ring with. Have anyone had this problem before and anyone know how to fix it. much thanks

p.s. The custom firmware i flash is call Infernal affair

while in quiet mode, go into the mobile settings and check the ringer volume. It is possible to change this...it is more like a profile in the Nokia phones. You can set the ring volume while in quiet mode back to zero.

ah... got it no wonder i known i was missing an no sound icon when i set it in quite mode but couldnt figure out where to get it back on thank lost_rebel

while we on this setup subject do anyone know how to change the quick phone book view to just read phone enter from the mobile phonebook and not from both mobile and sim.

I believe that you can do that from the main PB menu from the main chooser. Under settings or options or something to the like...I have not had a gd87 for 5 months or so
