data cable question

Just a quick question regarding data cables; I was wondering if any data cable (specific to the type of phone) would work to unlock my phone. I have the necessary software to do so, I'm just missing the data cable to connect phone to pc.

What phone are you seeking to unlock? Have a look through the manufacturer forum to locate the phone you wish to unlock. If you provide that info, a search will be possible and help yield some threads that can answer your questions.
