I like sleek silver but my c56 is black. Can I safely take the face plate and the back off and use plastic paint on it? thx

i don't see anything wrong with that.

as long as the paint doesnt go anywhere near the screen or the microchips of the phone and as long as the paint isn't so thick that it would make the painted pieces too big to fit back in.

ya im going to take the faceplate and the back off when i paint. i'll post pics when i do it.

u should use that new spraypaint they got nowadays that adheres to plastic. regular stuff is useless, u can scratch it right off once it dries.

sure, nothing wrong with that.... just as long as you take off the housing before doing it.
