I just got my 5150 and it says it was made in nov-2001???I have software ver 1.009SP, whats the difference between this version and the .016SP????

the new software enables 3g voice and data. however your browser is still 2g, it only allows 3g data for a pc connection.

so mine is just voice. are the chipsets the same? if they are, where can i get the software upgraded, i hope not at the local sprint store,,,,,, those guys are usually idiots! and rude!

you just have to go to the sprint store and ask for a software upgrade. keep in mind that 3g has not officialy launched so you will not be able to get the new dialer softare for your pc that will allow you to take advantage of the higher data speeds
