What software to use VX6000 as modem?

I have been reading about BitPim and using the cable ( i dont have one yet) and I am debating on what to buy. Will bitpim let me use the phone as a modem? If not, which software to go with? I have seen both the futuredial(sp?) software and the LG. There might be more but these are the 2 I am looking at right now.

check with http://home.nycap.rr.com/stopcbt/vx6000.html the link to download the software doesnt work.. but u can do the manual way. If u want the software.. pm me.. i'll try to zip it up if I remember.
