can i get on my scp-4700, if so how much how do i use it?

You mean call screening? I don't know if the 4700 has it. I know the 5150, 6000, 6200 have it. It is just using your phone's voice memo to record incoming call instead of using Sprint's voicemail. When the caller is recording to your phone voice memo, you could listen in and pick up the call if you want.

so you telling me that someone call me the vioce memo pickup
and i can here the other person talking......
will it used up min.?

it uses min because your phone answers the call to record the message.

For most people it does use up your min, but for me it doesn't! I get first incoming min free! The only thing I don't like is that the voice memo only have 16 sec per slot. I have the 6200, it has 8 slots of 16 sec memo. I would rather it is 4 slots of 32 sec. But in most cases, 16 sec is enough to say what you want.

also according to the manual on the FCC site the a500 will offer a call screening feature as well as voice memo features

I really like the voice screening feature, but I don't use it to screen calls. I use it to give me more time to pick up the call. Sometime when I am in my car with radio on, or when I am at loud places, I don't hear the phone rings until 10+ seconds later.. by then usually it would had gone to voicemail. But now I have some extra time to pick up the call while the caller is recording.
