Hello,
This is maybe a bug or something, but I'm not sure.
I'm a subway user. And I use my phone (CDM-8900) for the time. But as you all know, Toronto's subways don't have any network. (I'm not sure about other subways).
When the network goes out as soon as I get in a place where there's no network, this banner comes up "Searching for System..." and it doesn't show the time - open or closed.
I've looked in lots of settings, and I still can't find a fix for it.
Maybe some of you Audiovox's gurus?

The phones time sync is based on the carrier signal. so therefore if there is no signal there is no time. same thing ahappened to me on my trip to bamfield. 4hrs of nothingnessss. this isnt gsm, my old moto c333's time was set to internal clock(like a wrist watch). so i guess, suggestion wear a watch or get a reply "what time is it?" , "time to get a watch"

I happened to do this:
When it was looking for signal, I pressed any button that goes into the menu, or phonebook, and I come back to the main screen, and for a brief period IT SHOWS THE TIME!!

If you go into the world clock while on the subway you can see the time.. So it is saved internally somewhere..

Yup, I recently checked it out. But, I mean.. this can't be. Maybe AudioVox needs to be told about this?
