M55 Dynamic Lights

Just wondering if others have their dynamic lights on their M55 flashing all day while the phone is idling. There is service and everything. It's just flashing all day. I compared my M55 with my friends M55 side by side and his doesn't flash. Not a big deal, i actually like it but it's draining my battery, so just wondering

Menu --> Setup --> Dynamic Light --> Net sync.
