Was to reset phone without losing provider info?

Ok heres the deal........theres a lock code been put on my phone as a joke and then the person forgot the code...after kicking his ××× we have tried everything including calling customer service......I'm not gonna pay 125 dollars just to have my phone reset....theres got to be a way to reset it and remove this security lock code with damaging my service or my phone.....can some one help me?

I regretfully don't have an answer, but if you don't find one I see that the 2035a goes for pretty cheap on eBay... I see several postings with starting prices of around $30 with no bids. So maybe you could get one of those and not be out so much money. They must be refurbs or something... all posted by the same guy and they come with some extra accessories.

Do you have a data cable? If so, it might be possible to change the lock code using it.
