i received some mms files from my buddy, but when i tried to save the images or the ringtone, i forgot to enter the appropriate extension(exp., .MMF or .JPEG).

now, i can't find these "invisible" files in the phone, but it appears in the phone when i used the PC Sync to download other files. i can still extract these "invisible" files from the phone and then rename it, and then upload it to the phone. but the original "invisible" files are still there, eating up my valuable phone memory.

i cant find the file in the phone(in order to delete it), and i cant delete these files from the PC using the PC Sync, its driving me nuts!

i need help!

There was a previous post relating to this. Apparantly the files are permanently there now, even if you restore the phone to default settings. I've not had this happen to me (yet) so I can't confirm it though.

i had the same problem....
but even worse becaue i had saved more than one file

the only solution was to ovrwriete it with another file which had a smaller size =[

why the heck inno doesnt make some kind of update?
its impossible that they have not heard any complaints

actually, i've got about 5 hidden files in my inno-90, ××××, the designers are a bunch of idiots

starstalker, how do i overwrite it with a smaller file? yr help is highly appreciated.

so, you have to know the exact name of the files that you saved.
so you go and upload a smaller file of lets say 1kb to the same folder with the same name, and it will ask if u want to overwrite it... then u select yes...
this was theonly reasonable solution =[

i hope somone creates somekind of unofficial software to solve these stupid problems

well... i hope its useful...

does this happen ONLY when u receive an sms and then accept a picture or something? or does this happen too after u take a picture with camera?

Posted by: PopeyeSmokesPot

I think they mean if they receive a file that the phone doesn't understand. Meaning if somebody meant to send you a ringtone that was not labeled with an extension that the phone recognizes, then the phone will save it as a invisible file....I hadn't had this happen to me but I think this is what they mean...I think.

yes and it worked

at least its using up less space =[

when you take a picture it automatically throws a .jpg extension onto the file....so no worries there.
