making silent contacts ::P900::

When you select to edit a contact, you can customize their personal ringtone. One of the options is silent. Now... I can only get Silent to stick IF I select a different ringtone from the default tone first, exit contacts, then go back and select "silent". When someone whom I assigned the "silent" tone calls me, the default SEM.mid plays! I have changed the regular "default" voice ringtone to a mp3 from the "default" selection which plays SEM.mid. So I don't know why instead of the caller being silent, it rolls back to the SEM.mid... Any ideas?
If there is no solution... Is there a way to make a "no sound" .mid or .mp3 file?

yeah, use the voice recorder function and record in a quiet room. I've done this before with my P800.
