Sorry for the double post (also in computing forum), but thought you guys might have more experience. At the moment I'm considering an Apple iBook, the 12" version for real portability. Of course, when I'm outside the range of WiFi at home or uni I'll want to still have interret access, which would take the form of GPRS on O2 UK, using my P900 (or possibly XDA2. I just wanna know if anyone has experience of using data over Bluetooth, with a P900 and Bluetooth enabled OSX notebook. Anything you can tell me would be much appreciated. Cheers

When I had my P900 it worked PERFECT with my 12' Powerbook. OSX has built in drivers for the P900 which means GPRS and iSync capabilities without much hassle. I also loved that the p900 could sync the photos in my address book without breaking a sweat! Heh...if you want connectivity and have a mac....you better ditch the idea of using an XDA II. Yea, you can sync with a 3rd party app, but you will not be able to hop in the net..which sucks beyond belief! If you have a PC laptop, you could use the XDA II's wireless modem app, but us mac users are hung out to dry. Get the P900...for connectivity and mac friendliness you cannot beat it.

I've actually got both the P900 & XDA II, was just wondering how much luck I'd have with each one. Ideally I would use the XDA because that's essentially only used for data and the data is cheaper on that account... Oh well, I'm not gonna be using it extensively so doesn't matter too much. Thanks for your help. Cheers
