Has anyone tried running Snails on the Tungsten E?

I've tried it on the T3 and a PPC, and it's great. Thinking of switching to a T|E.

But the T|E has a slower processor, so i wonder if it makes much of a difference for gameplay.

Anyone tried it?

It says it compatible with T|E....and i've jus installed it onto my T|E...and its fine....

did u buy the game???

So, in your opinion: Pretty smooth running on the T|E, then? No frame skips or quirky-ness due to the "slower" CPU?

not lagging @ all.....
i'm only running on the demo....
but yea....
its still nice....
but u might find some differences since u were using a T3 which uses a Intel 400mhz while the T|E uses a TI 126mhz ......
might see some differences in comparison but i dun think u will see any....
it hasn't lagged for me yet during the game play....but loading from FACER took around 5-10 seconds......which is normal for large games like that.....since i have GT RACER for Palm and it takes around the same amount of time to load the game....

Loading from "facer"? Is this some sort of 3rd party launcher? Please explain.

And do you have Snails loaded in your main memory, or on a card?

Launching Snails from the T3 brings the PDAMill splash screen for about 1 second... then it snaps to the main menu after that. Pretty darn instant.

I'm more concerned about gameplay quality on the T|E. The demo is no different. It's just "locked" to only play one level I believe.

FACER is a 3rd party laucher....

yes i do see the Splash Screen....but not for a while since i am loading from the card.....

gameplay is really nice....played one game on it like 15 mins ago....

its like WORMS ARMAGEDDON on the Palm....
really nice......
speed is nice too......sound is also amazing

I've run Snails on a T3 and PPC... but when I run Snails on the Tungsten E, the background music doesn't play, and the sound effects audio skips during explosions or when you launch a rocket, for example.

Other sound effects, such as exclamations from the Snails ("Let's Go!", "Wheeeee!") sound perfect.

background music doesn't seem to work for me either...
i thought it was becuase its the demo...but i guess its not....
