i just got a vx6000 along with a USB cable from coolera.com (via ebay). i'm using bitpim but i'm having some major problems getting everything to work - i installed the drivers from the CD included with the cable, but windows keeps detecting a "qualcomm cdma technologies msm" device (the phone) without a driver. it appears under 'unknown device' in my device manager. there are no drivers detected under the modem or port sections of the device manager, either. bitpim can't automatically detect the COM port (of course) and COM1 isnt working for me. i tried installing drivers from futuredial and one from a yahoo group but they make no difference in the result. being new to all of this, what should i do? i'll try to be as specific as possible if you have any questions but from what i can gather my machine (win98se) isnt detecting everything properly. has anyone had any problems from the coolera.com cables?

i tried to contact coolera 2 days ago but they havent responded. any advice?

Having same problem. I've even gone to LG's webpage and downloaded their drivers. No luck.
