Vodafone-M525 English instructions

I just recently purchased a Motorola 525 in Germany from Vodafone. The sales rep stated the instruction manual would be also printed in English! Wrong!
I have emailed Vodafone, no answer, and Motorola does not have the 525 listed on their website for downloadable manuals.
Any idea how I could obtain a manual?
