8900 is down ??

My phone is show Verizone startup banner during 1 minut, then write "fs_dir.c 09192" then reboot and all show Verizone startup banner again

I can off it only remove battary. That happend after phone book changes. Is it possible to restory my CDM8900?

I'm not in US and I can't send phone for reflashing.
Phone is rebooting all time

Only option is to get a cable and learn how to re-flash it yourself. It's all spelled out on this forum

I have USB cable from VX6000 and RS232 cable(tested with VX6000). If somebody can help me it will be perfectly!!!

Mine started doing the same thing after using BitPM on it and making some changes.

I couldn't get the data cable to read from the phone any longer and neither could the Verizon store.

I have the insurance so they just gave me a new phone, but I lost everything that wasn't backed up.

Hey COBRASVT what did you tell them was wrong for them to replace your phone? The reason Im asking is because mine does the same thing but only when I plug in the data cable other than that the phone works fine. I do have insurance on the phone though.

I didn't have to tell them anything...the phone wouldn't do anything except reboot...it would power on ... sit there ... then power off.
