Suject basically says it i want to use my m56 to get onine but not w/ GPRS since i dont want to pay the data rates im gogin upstate and jsut ant to go online via dilaup to check e-mail.... i have the data cable but the only software i have is to use it w/ GPRS anyone knwo how i can use my m56 as a regualr dialup modem?

theres a place in the connectivity menu of my m55 where i can setup a CSD phone number and username/password could that be it ?

ok after playing around with the phone.. i think i found out how to use a dialup account.. go in the phone setup ---> connectivity ---> data services --> mms, wap , and edit your profile.. disable gprs and enter your dialup info in the CSD profile and it should work.. i tried on my phone didnt work because apparently ( found out after calling fido about this ) my provider is blocking CSD to force me to use their ultra expensive gprs service.
