Well I've almost given up on WAP so I'm prolly gonna op for the cable soon (wonder where I could get one pretty cheap). Anyhow does anyone know if the slider supports mp3 ringtones ... if so where can I find more info on them and making my own

I also wanted to find out about games and apps like aim ... I still don't have WAP (I got the new v5)

Yes, the slider does support mp3. do a search as i'm not aware what settings they need to be at. (somebody on this board experimented with them) as for games and apps, it would be pretty impossible since this phone has brew.

I have complete instructions on mp3 ringtones and the format the format they need to be in. Give me ure email and i will send u it. Btw,u need a data cable.

I can get my wap to work yet ... stupid new version phone ... I saw an post over on cellphonehacks about the vox on VM and how you can change the url in the browser though been trying it for awhile but nothing yet .....

Take out battery
power up phone
go to Vxtras
then immediatly hold down the Vx button (left on theslider I guess)
this should take you to a menu
where you press 6
then 2
and then your supposed to be able to change the home url

but like I said I haven't got it to work yet ...

I get a message like Service not availabe ....
oh well some try it and see if it works
