CDM8900 Flip Squeaks

Has anyone had this problem - or does anyone know how to disassemble the CDM8900 so I try to fix it myself?
I bought a new CDM8900 from Verizon Wireless. I had the phone for three weeks without any problems. Eventually, my connection between the base and flip broke which required me to get a warranty replacement.
My new phone now squeaks when the flip is pressed against my ear or I move the phone. The longer I talk on the phone and the hotter it gets, the worse the phone squeaks. It gets to the point that I cannot hear the person on the other line, and the other person can hear the annoying sound.
I went back to Verizon and asked if they could fix this "annoyance". They advised that this happens with all flip phones, and they could not do anything about it. I called Verizon (*611), and they told me that they would not fix it and that I should buy a new phone. I just bought this phone a month ago and don't want to spend another $200 on a phone.
Does anyone have any this problem? Does anyone know how I can open the phone (without breaking it and voiding the warranty)?

Get some Tri-Flow lubricant, preferably in the squeeze bottle. Any bike shop will have it.
Then put a tiny little drop in each of the hinges, open and close it a few times, and wipe off the excess. No more squeak.
Don't use WD-40 as it can eat away the plastic.

Thanks for the idea. I went to the Verizon store in Philadelphia today while on travel for business. The tech there determined that the problem was the rubber boot that sits behind the flip (when open), and the boot was rubbing against the cut-out that it is supposed to protect. He couldn't remove the boot without taking the phone apart, but did confirm that it was very annoying. He gave me a replacement phone today and marked it as a warranty exchange.
FYI - I've read on other posts that there was supposed to be an upgrade to the software on the 15th... the new phone still has the old software.
