Failed MSG Delivery 'damages' Inbox

Hi all!

Has anyone else had this, or similar, occur:

When an incoming msg... either a txt msg or voice msg... 'fails' on it's way in (i.e., it never quite gets all the way... usually when my phone suddenly moves into a bad reception area) I will see a BIG BOLD ENVELOPE in my Inbox (w/ no 'subject' next to it).

Then, if I attempt to read it, I only see the text of an adjacent Inbox msg.

If I try to ERASE it, the adjacent msg will be erased and the BOLD Envelope icon will still be there... it will not go away, unless I ERASE all other msgs in the Inbox.

I am very good about erasing msgs so that my Inbox does not fill up. But I want to keep my most recent Weather Alert (until I get the next one the following day). I can certainly 'plan' to ERASE this 'phantom' msg at the end of the day (and hope I get a new weather alert on time the next mrng), but I shouldn't have to.

This is a programming bug, pure and simple.

Anyone else seen this? (Not looking for a solution... just some sympathy...)

Thanks in advance!

that seems worse than my problem. I used to get a failed message with a text message thescreen would however show me the message that didn;t go though but as soon as i hit a button it would go away. It would not stay in the inbox at all. Eventually after deletign the entire inbox a coupel of times it jsut started workign normally again so i have no idea what happened . Hope your problem straightens itself out
